v4ltest contains some testing utilities for VIDEO4LINUX. The primary purpose of v4ltest is to check the V4L interface for both IVTV and BTTV cards. This program was used to check that structure sizes for i386 and amd64 programs. The Python code in FREEVO was incorrect for AMD64 bit machines.
The source package contains a small program to tune the TV channels for both BTTV and IVTV cards and a script to set the frequencies for Swiss TV channels.
