Freevo from scratch is a project to document the installation and configuration of Linux and Freevo-1.5.x for a barebones system. A Shuttle XPC SB83G5M with a Shuttle PN18 Wireless adaptor and a Hauppauge PVR-350 TV card. The current working copy of this project is here.
This project is very much a work in progress and the document will change on a daily basis.

The operating system software for this project is based on Linux from Scratch and Beyond Linux From Scratch. The build commands for the software packages can be found in this archive. The build commands do not include details of any patches that have been applied which are detailed in the Linux From Scratch books.
The Freevo system is a base Freevo system plus these packages:
vbi2srt-0.1.10.tar.bz2
vfd-0.0.2.tar.bz2
wakeup-0.0.7.tar.bz2
